Changes to tax refunds from 1 July

From 1 July 2013, individual income tax clients' refunds will need to be deposited into a bank account when lodging via the electronic lodgment service (ELS).

Clients expecting a refund will need to provide bank account details including BSB, account number and account name prior to lodgement of their tax returns
